Injury Reporting Procedures

An injury requiring ANY medical attention should be reported to the local League Safety Officer. Only the League Safety Officer or the League President should report an accident or injury to the District. Parents, managers, coaches, and spectators MUST report injuries directly to the local League's Safety Officer. Reports submitted to the District 55 Safety Officer that are submitted by parents, managers, coaches, and spectators will be returned.

Don't let this happen to ANY child. If you see a bat swinging outside of the playing field, stop it before someone is seriously injured. It is your duty as an adult!!!

Metal cleats are allowed ONLY in Big League, Seniors, and Juniors

Park at your own RISK!!! As the season kicks into high gear, be aware of your parking habits. When you park in an area where balls are being hit and thrown, you are assuming the risk if damage occurs. Park cautiously!!!

Safety Tips
Safety is everyone's responsibility. Be alert at all times. First aid kits and ice should always be available. Wear proper safety equipment. Keep shoes tied tightly. Warm-up all players prior to game time. Always watch for swinging bats. Catcher's MUST wear a mask even when warming up a pitcher.

Let's make sure our kids have a safe playing field:
Check the field for obstructions prior to game time;
Check for unsafe equipment in the dugouts;
Check bats for proper size for each level of play;
Check catcher's equipment and ensure that it fits the player PROPERLY.
